Hey folks...

I have submitted a Grant Proposal to try to get some extra money to start purchasing some NFPA rated Rope Rescue gear for the District.

It is an online submittal, and there is a place for public support on the site. The web address is here: http://www.myhometownhelper.com/ViewProject.aspx?id=28732

at the bottom of that page, you can submit a brief letter of support and hopefully we will be able to get some other monies to start purchasing some of their gear, and then we will have some fun rope rescue drills.

Please take a look and help show some support

along with this grant....I am hopeing that there are a few peopl ein our district that would like to learn more about this type of rescue. Maybe Tower rescues, a little of all of this...

If you are interested...let me know and we can see what we can come up with and schedule more training and know-how. It really is fun Twisted Evil

Just wanted to bring this up again....part of the way that they give this grant out if with a show of support from the community for the ideas....so the more people we have that support this and write a comment on the above linked page...the better chance we will have to get this grant.

I am excited and think this is a great place to get some extra equipment without stressing our budgets each year.
